About Me

Growing up I always dreamed of riding and racing motorcycles. When I broke my back in a motorcycle accident in 2016, I thought that my dream of racing bikes was over...

In 2017 I snuck out of rehab to go meet Rob Parsons, Chairslayer, drift his adapted car at Grid Life. Rob showed the possibility that you can adapt your vehicle for racing as a paraplegic.

When I got back from Grid Life all I did was watch videos and research how to adapt a motorcycle to race as a para. I was determined to pursue my dream so I began networking on social media and through spinal cord injury groups. That is when I discovered Ulla Kulju, a Finnish paraplegic motorcycle racer who won the 2017 world championship. She is the worlds only paraplegic female motorcycle racer.

We connected and she offered me the chance to get back on the bike and travel to Finland to be a part of Kulju racing, to begin building a team of disabled motorcycle racers. Unfortunately due to Covid, we were unable to make that happen. But she linked me connected to a man named Mike Petrosini, founder of The Bike Experience USA, who specialize in getting disabled riders back on motorcycles. From there, we formed a plan to get me riding and racing here in the US.

In June 2020 I was able to purchase my Yamaha R6 to start adapting for the 2021 season. In May 2021 I made my first track day since my accident with my fully adapted R6 with the help of a group of riders known as the Motley Misfits.

Racing as a paraplegic is now a reality.
